Spring Break

John had two full weeks off between rotations so we decided to make a lengthy trip South. We headed first down to Payson to see Garrett and Kricket's family. Ryder and Max really hit it off as buddies.

The weather was pretty nice so everyone could play outside. Max loved all his cousins' toys, especially this sandbox.

Max wasn't too sure about this "Barnum Chair" moment.
Great to just lounge in jammies on vacation.
All the cousins together: Cooper, Max, Jenna, Ryder
We also stayed with Brian and April and finally got to meet Mr. Watson. This pictures says it all about Max and Watson's relationship.
We were able to spend a few nights with Tom and Emily and celebrate Jane's 3rd birthday.
Then we headed farther south to Vegas to visit our good friends Darin, Shannon and Marlee. I'm bummed I don't have a single picture of all of us together. Here is a funny video of Max trying to lift weights at their house.
SUCCESSFUL :)

UNSUCCESSFUL :(

We spent a few nights on the strip in the Excalibur hotel too. Brian and April stayed there too which made it extra fun and convenient. A special thanks to them for watching Max while John and I hit the night life. Well not really, we just wanted to check out the fountains at the Belagio Hotel. Wow, it was so cool and worth walk amidst too much skin and alcohol. That's Vegas!

We also visited my 96 year old Grandpa in Logandale, north of Vegas .

On our way home to Rexburg we stopped by Brian and Jami's for a few days. Max experienced his first sucker. I guess he liked it.

We are off to SLC tomorrow for John's Psych rotation at the Veteran's Hospital. We will be there until the 25th of June so let us know if you are in UT so we can come visit.
